Love Community Center would love to have you as a client. All you need to do is fill out the client intake form, which you can do at the community center, 1331 East Berry Street, or you can download the form (coming soon) and bring it in, or email your request to info@lovecc.org.

GED PROGRAM
At Love Community Center we believe that everyone should have opportunities for success. Our commitment to the community is that we accept all applicants, assesses current level and creates a program specific for that individual to complete their certification. We will come alongside each person to create a specialized program and timeline for their completion of the GED. Because of our belief that each client has specific needs we do not hold classes and do program qualifying assessments. We work with your schedule to find a way to help you complete the program successfully.
LITERACY PROGRAM
At Love Community Center understand the importance of assessing your current level and then forming a plan to assist you in improving your level of reading, comprehension, and written skills. Using computer based Reading Horizons, Project Light and one on one A becca and phonics curriculum we assesses your current level and then create a specialized program to raise the reading level of each client in the program.
K-12 TUTORING and BEYOND
Love Community Center is committed to helping clients who are in school, stay there to receive their diploma, degree, or certification. We ensure our commitment through our tutoring.

We also provide career and academic counseling. We will attend school conferences, IEP meetings, career development meetings, etc in support of our client’s needs. This program is designed to provide encouragement, tools, and support for academic assistance. Clients utilizing these services have demonstrated above average results and improvement of overall test scores
FITNESS CENTER
Our fitness center is fully equipped with Nautilus equipment and is open to the public during our operating hours and by appointment. You must be 16 to use the equipment; students under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent prior to use equipment.
AEROBICS CLASSES
Love Community Center offers Aerobic classes in our fitness room. Our fitness classes focus on strengthening, toning, and building a strong core. The basic aerobic course uses floor exercises, low impact aerobics, and weightlifting. Our advanced class uses high impact aerobics, high energy program, with a focus on cardio and strength training. This class is still for all levels, guaranteed to be a good and challenging workout. Call for current schedule.
GENERAL KEYBOARDING
This course focuses on how to use a keyboard and practice your skills on using a computer keyboard in word processing and basic computer navigation.
BEGINNING AND ADVANCED COMPUTER CLASSES
The beginning course focuses on basic computer knowledge, from how to turn on a program and navigate to basic word processing and internet searching.
The Advanced course goes more in-depth and reviews the basic concepts, to help one gain clear understanding of how to use computers and basic software.
WEB DESIGN
Our Web design area assists clients in the ability to learn a marketable skill, in learning the basics of web design. These classes are offered on a rolling basis; check our calendar for the next program start date.
WOODWORKING
Love Community Center has a 1500 square foot facility with industrial carpentry machines and some supplies.
