He’s bold. He’s flat. He’s Wendell Willkie—reimagined as a cartoon ambassador for global unity, civic spirit, and small-town pride. Flat Willkie is on a world tour, and Rush County is his home base. From Love Community Center, schools, city centers, museums, community gardens, state parks, and hiking trails to public forums and picnics, he’s here to celebrate connection, action, and adventure.

Flat Willkie will begin his journey at the Annual Midwest Craft Chocolate Festival in Rushville, Indiana, where he’ll be traveling home with chocolate makers and visitors from across 17 countries and 6 continents. From that launch point, he’ll continue to spread messages of civic engagement, friendship, and curiosity across the globe. Our mission: send Flat Willkie around the world, and let every stop become a story of connection and cooperation.
